Departure towards the beautiful Bay of Halong, called the eighth wonder of the world. Embarkation on a sanpan, a traditional wooden junk boat that travels across a myriad of islands, islets, rocks and cliffs, sailing through caves, stalactites and stalagmites that give life to a scenic view that is unique in the world. Visit to a characteristic fishing village, by canoe or by small traditional boats. Lunch, dinner and overnight stay on board.
The morning is dedicated to the activities on board the junk boat, in a surreal and unique atmosphere that only the Bay of Halong can offer. Brunch on board the boat during the sailing and return to the harbor. Transfer to Hanoi. The day ends with a Water Puppet Show: a show unique in the world where the actors are wooden puppets that on the scenery of the water summon ancient traditional stories and scenes of daily life taken from the most famous folk legends. Dinner at a traditional restaurant and overnight stay at the hotel.
Morning dedicated to the visit of Hanoi, the “cultural capital” of the country, which includes the old neighborhood with its narrow and busy streets, the imposing mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, the park of the ancient residence of the Governor of Indochina, the characteristic Single Pillar pagoda dating back to the year 1049 and, not far away, the picturesque pagoda of Dien Huu. The tour continues with a visit to Van Mieu, the Confucian temple of literature, the oldest Asian university founded in the year 1070, and a stop at the lake of the “Returned Sword” on which the islet of the Temple of the Jade Mountain stands. Lunch at a local restaurant. At the end of the visit, transfer to the airport and boarding for the flight to Phu Quoc. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
A few days to relax on the beautiful beach of SeaClub Novotel Phu Quoc or the SeaClub Premier Emerald Bay, a perfect location from which to perform unforgettable excursions by sea and land at the discovery of this small island still unexplored. Full board all inclusive.
