In search for the Northern Lights in Northern Europe

A fantastic adventure in search for the Northern Lights awaits you! The northern lights only appear in particular weather conditions, but you can admire them more clearly beyond the Arctic Circle. Only here will you be able to experience unforgettable emotions that will stay with you forever.

1st DAY: Milan Malpensa-Tromsø

Departure by direct flight to Tromsø. After 3 hours and 45 minutes, you will reach the Arctic capital to meet with guides and then to be transferred to the **** Hotel

2nd DAY: Tromsø-Kirkenes (flight)

Transfer to the airport for departure by scheduled flight to Kirkenes, a town located to the north of the Arctic Circle and a few kilometers from the Russian border.
Here the most adventurous tourists can enjoy a pleasant tour by snowmobile or sleigh pulled by beautiful husky dogs; alternatively, you can enjoy the enchanted landscape with a stroll on the ice wearing snowshoes.

3rd DAY: Kirkenes-Navigation

Transfer to the harbor and embarkation on the Hurtigruten, heading south on board a ship that leaving from Vardø will follow the coast of Varanger peninsula and will reach Berlevåg where you will be able to admire the Northern Lights from on board the ship. If you leave the loudspeaker of your cabin phone turned on, you may be awakened by the captain who, even in the middle of the night, will warn you if the magic of the northern lights appears in the sky!

4th DAY: Honningsvåg (North Cape)-Havøysund-Hammerfest-Skjervøy-Tromsø

Full board on board the ship.
In the morning at dawn you will reach Honningsvåg, the town nearest to North Cape, the northernmost point in Europe.
The ship then will then head to Hammerfest, the northernmost municipality in the world.
The navigation will continue through the Sørøysundet Strait up to Skjervøy and along the beautiful Lyngenfjord.
Around midnight you will reach Tromsø.
After disembarking, by foot you will reach the Radisson Blu **** Hotel Tromsø or a similar accomodation. Overnight stay.

5th DAY: Tromsø-Milan Malpensa

Panoramic city tour with admission included to the Polaria Museum, housed in a building representing the blocks of ice pushed south by the tumultuous waters of the Arctic seas. You will find the Polaria museum just 5 minutes away from downtown Tromsø. The Polaria has an Arctic aquarium, a panoramic cinema, scientific exhibitions and a gift and souvenir shop.
Time available for shopping. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport and departure by direct flight to Milan Malpensa.
